South Bank Takeaway Guide

January 19th, 2021 | by Tom Harrow-Smith

South Bank Takeaway Guide

Another lockdown means another period where our much loved South Bank restaurants and bars are closed. It may not be the same as a night out socialising with friends over delicious food and drinks, but you can still support some of your favourite South Bank venues by ordering in. We've picked some of the South Bank restaurants still open for business and that are delivering to your door or available for click and collect. From Poland to Trinidad and Tobago to good old freshly made pizza, there's loads to choose from.

  • Bring Some Caribbean Heat to Your Home

Limin' Beach Club in Gabriels Wharf was one of the most popular spots to be on South Bank this summer, and now they're on a mission to bring some of those that summer sun and Caribbean heat into your British winter.

The stand out favourite is Trinidad and Tobago's unofficial national dish - Doubles - a form of street food made with two baras (fried flat bread) and filled with light curried chana and various chutneys. The Limin' kitchen have worked out a solution to get them from their kitchen to yours as freshly as possible in the form of a handy meal kit for you to construct at home.

There's even more dishes to try too, and what's more, their menu is 90% vegan. Plus, did we mention the variety of rum cocktails, made with their own brand of Rum that you can order too?
