Guidelines, forms and contacts
South Bank offers the photographer and film maker a fascinating selection of locations, from the famous Riverside Walkway and the lastminute.com London Eye through to gritty car parks, cultural venues and a traditional domed reading room.
All venues require advanced arrangements to be made, with varying notice periods and application processes. The stretch of land along South Bank is privately owned, therefore depending on your required location, you will need to ask permission from different landowners. Restrictions
Photography and filming using a tripod without prior permission is forbidden in many areas of South Bank due to security and access issues. If you are planning to use a tripod for personal or amateur use, you must still seek permission first from the appropriate landowner.
Filming in Jubilee Gardens
Unfortunately commercial filming is not permitted by Jubilee Gardens Trust who are responsible for the running and maintenance of the gardens as a community space.
