Free Live Music at Southbank Centre
Every Friday Southbank Centre serves up two doses of live music with their Friday Lunch and futuretense shows that are designed to showcase a diverse array of up and coming artists.
Friday Lunch takes place in Royal Festival Hall's Central Bar and features an exciting range of musical genres for you to enjoy, making it a perfect choice if you're looking for something alternative to do on your lunch hour.
If you're looking for a fun activity in the early evening head to futuretense at 6pm, where Southbank Centre have partnered with BBC Music Introducing to present a new act each week. These artists have been hotly tipped for big things by BBC Music's team of experts from across the country and those who have played at these free gigs early in their musical careers include Jamie Cullum, Kojey Radical, Lady Leshurr, Pumarosa and Poppy Ackroyd.
You never know, at each of these gigs you may just find your next favourite artist!
