'Find Your Happy Place' in South Bank

Whether you’re looking for green space, to grab a spot of delicious street food or to enjoy world-class cultural offerings, you can Find Your Happy Place right here in South Bank.
Our ‘Find Your Happy Place’ campaign is here to help highlight all of your favourite ‘little moments’ in South Bank. From walking along the river and taking in the cultural sights, to visiting the best street food vendors around and being inspired by the creativity in Leake Street Arches; all of these experiences are what continue to make any trip to South Bank special, whatever the circumstances.

We’ve been working hard to make sure the place is clean, safe and secure for your visit, so no matter whether you’re coming for a week, a day, or just an hour or two, South Bank is always ready to welcome you back.

You’ll find our new campaign on poster units throughout South Bank, and also on our digital channels. All of our poster units also include useful maps of the area, together with the latest health and safety guidance from Lambeth Council. Some additional South Bank hand sanitiser stations will also be installed shortly too.

So come and find your happy place here in South Bank: just remember to follow the latest safety guidelines to help keep you and those around you safe, and act responsibly.

We know everyone has their own reason why South Bank is their happy place, but here are a few of our favourite ways to spend time in South Bank right now:

  • Enjoy a 360 view of the sights of London on the London Eye

  • Visit Gabriel’s Wharf and OXO Tower to support independent stores and local artisans

  • Take a boat trip down the river and relax as the landscape of London passes by

  • Celebrate the Lady of the Lamp’s 200th birthday at the Florence Nightingale Museum

  • Take in the creativity of Europe’s largest legal graffiti tunnel, Leake Street Arches and watch how it changes every day.

  • Catch a movie on the big screen at BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX

  • Treat yourself to some of the capital’s best Street Food at Festival Square or beside the river

  • Celebrate the Everyday Heroes that have helped us through this pandemic in the Southbank Centre’s free new art exhibition

  • Head to any one of our great cocktail bars, for a drink with a view

Make sure to tag your posts with #mysouthbank so we can share all of your favourite South Bank happy moments on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
