Skylon

Divided into two dining areas with an additional semi-private space, Skylon offers a high-end and stylish option for a range of events with spectacular views over South Bank and the Riverside. From entertaining clients over dinner to hosting award ceremonies and product launches, the restaurant has a number versatile spaces to suit all types of events. Choose between The River View for a semi-private space, the restaurant, or opt to rent the entire venue.

Just as its namesake, the original cigar-shaped tower built for the Festival of Britain that took place in 1951 on South Bank , Skylon overlooks the River Thames and offers panoramic views of London's cityscape. However, the Royal Festival Hall resident can boast far more space than its predecessor.

Room Capacity

Skylon's various spaces can accommodate large and small parties, from intimate private dinners of up to 60 guests to large group bookings of up to 150 people.

Alternatively, you can exclusively hire the whole venue, which can host up to 500 guests for standing or up to 300 guests for seated events.

  • A huge thank you. The Gatenby party went spectacularly well on Saturday evening thanks to the whole Skylon team with Lola at the planning helm.
