What's on this October half term?

October 22nd, 2020 | by Emily Stedman

What's on this October half term?

There are plenty of exciting ways to keep your little ones entertained this half-term in South Bank.

From educational day's out to spooktacular adventures, and whether you're looking for a whole days worth of activities or just a delicious, kid-friendly meal, we've got you covered.

For further booking information and all the ways our venues are keeping you safe, please see the individual attractions for further details.

  • Meet Florence

Florence Nightingale was as famous as Queen Victoria in her own lifetime and is still celebrated today. Come and meet her and she'll tell you how she became a nurse against her parents' wishes and how she became known as the 'Lady with the Lamp'. 2020 is Florence's 200th birthday, so the museum are hosting a special 'Nightingale in 200 Objects, People & Places', where you'll even get to see Nightingale’s iconic original lamp.

The museum is also taking part in the Where's Wally? Spooky Museum Search, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for Wally, to be in with the chance of winning a bundle of Where’s Wally? goodies!
