Sally Fisher's dynamic abstract images are filled with colour and dramatic plays of light as she uses the sensation of colour and graphic form to explore the co-existence of multiple states of being, fortune and perspective. Throughout her work there is an undercurrent of the human search for freedom - be that cultural, economic, emotional, intellectual or spiritual.
Fisher's artistic practice is a meditative one, in which she walks in silence for hours with her camera and a single lens exploring intensely a small area to observe the different moods of the place, behaviours of its inhabitants and to imagine its lifetime of "happenings" before beginning to make her images.
Fleeing Reality will be Sally Fisher's first ever solo exhibition.
