Groundhog Day

The Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical returns to The Old Vic this summer.

Directed by Matthew Warchus, with book by Danny Rubin, and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the musical is a charming remake of the classic 1993 Bill Murray film Groundhog Day. The critically acclaimed hit show debuted in 2016 to rave reviews and is back in London after taking the Broadway stage by storm.

For the 12-week 2023 run at The Old Vic, Andy Karl reprises his multi-award-winning role as the cynical TV weatherman Phil Connors who finds himself reliving the same day over and over again.

Darkly comic, life-affirming, and with a healthy sprinkle of romance on top, this is set to be the feel-good hit of the summer.
