Afternoon Tea in the London Marriott Hotel County Hall Library
For unrivalled views over Big Ben and unique British heritage, you can't beat the London Marriott Hotel County Hall. That's why we're excited to say that you can now bask in the building’s history and enjoy a scenic, traditional afternoon tea in their stunning newly renovated Library space.
The new menu boasts a bespoke cured salmon created exclusively by London’s oldest smokers H Forman & Sons, served with creamy burrata inside beetroot bread, warm savoury basil scones topped with fresh crab and a selection of strawberry custard cream biscuits. The signature pastries include, black cherry Bakewell tart, a favourite of King George V who opened County Hall in 1922, zesty lemon and raspberry meringue pie and a rich double chocolate delice, created especially for chocolate-lovers.
The Library also introduces a new classic vegan afternoon tea with showstoppers including pickled forest mushroom and tarragon tart, beetroot and avocado hummus sandwiches, complete with vegan versions of the delectable pastries.
Upon finishing afternoon tea, as a parting gift, all guests will receive a jar of The Library’s signature Tiptree strawberry jam by Wilkins and Sons and scone recipe by the Executive Chef, in order to recreate the experience at home.
Served weekdays from 2.00pm to 6.00pm and weekends from 12.00pm to 6.00pm.
