COVID-19: 21st December South Bank Update

COVID-19: 21st December South Bank Update

Like all of London, South Bank is now under Tier 4 rules and restrictions, meaning our venues and attractions cannot open. You should not leave your home to visit South Bank currently unless you have a reasonable excuse, such as you cannot work from home or you need to buy or collect food or medicine. Only a handful of businesses providing these services will be open while under Tier 4 restrictions.

If you’re a South Bank resident, a Londoner undertaking their daily exercise or commuting in, you will still find the area is safe and Covid secure. Our South Bank Clean Team and South Bank Patrol teams will be highly visible, working every day of the week (except Christmas Day) to ensure the area remains safe and clean. Their services include daily jet washing, sanitisation and security patrolling.

While South Bank’s most famous cultural and visitor attractions can’t open right now, we will continue to share a range of brilliant digital content from our venues alongside ways you can bring the best of the South Bank into your own home, so you can still stay connected to us from wherever you are in the world.

Please do continue to share your South Bank stories and memories with us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook – stay safe, and keep enjoying the little moments that make South Bank your happy place until we can welcome you back properly again.
