Children’s Special with David Walliams

Suitable for 6 to 12-year-olds

David Walliams is one of our biggest – and most versatile – talents on TV, winning BAFTAs for Little Britain and Britain’s Got Talent, and plaudits for his hugely successful adaptations of his own children’s stories – most recently The Midnight Gang on BBC1. But with more than 30 million books sold in 53 languages, David Walliams is also a bestselling author with a special talent for entrancing, amusing, delighting – and occasionally revolting! – younger readers. His latest novel, Fing – his 12th – went straight to number one in the children’s bestsellers list. Join us to hear David read from his latest book, watch some of his funniest clips – and hear how he takes his comic creations from page to screen.

Tickets £10 adults (BFI Members pay £2 less), £5 under-16s

David Walliams will be signing copies of his book in the BFI IMAX foyer immediately after the event (60 mins max).
