Southbank Centre Market
Southbank Centre Market
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the piazza on Belvedere Road behind the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall is transformed into a lively street food market.
There’s a huge choice of cuisine on offer from all over the world. Feast on Caribbean curries or Venezuelan bowls, try an Ethiopian injera platter, the famous duck confit burger or a classic Punjabi biryani.
Delicious sweet treats on sale include traditional French crêpes, homebaked cookies, brownies and pasteis de nata and Choco Fruit’s decadent bananas and strawberries smothered in melted Belgian chocolate (a good one for sharing).
Vegetarians and vegans will find plenty of enticing options and there are also coffee, juice and craft beer stands where you can buy drinks to wash it all down.
