The Green Room is a contemporary restaurant, bar and garden developed by local social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders in collaboration with the National Theatre.
Serving delicious, ethically-sourced British diner food and roast dinners on Sundays, it’s a unique temporary architectural experiment which offers an airy, contemporary space featuring props and scenery recycled from National Theatre shows.
Located behind the NT and next to Rambert Dance Studios on London’s South Bank, the venue is the National’s first off-site restaurant. The Green Room’s casual menu has been developed by the NT’s Executive Chef, Simon Flint (formerly Head Chef at The Groucho Club, Le Caprice and The Ivy) and focuses on locally sourced quality ingredients.
The Green Room have a fantastic casual menu which is perfect for relaxed lunches, dinners of drinks with friends or family. The restaurant has now also announced it's winter/ Christmas menu, which includes the likes of Suffolk pork belly with crackling and apple sauce, roasted Buccleuch lamb rump and mint sauce, rhubarb panna cotta and chocolate tart with buttermilk ice cream...
