#1 London Design Festival - OXO Tower Wharf

What?

First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of the world's most important annual design events. The Festival programme is made up of over 400 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds of partner organisations across the design spectrum and from around the world.

#2 Talking Peace Festival - House of Vans

What?

Feast your eyes , ears and taste buds on the return of the Talking Peace festival to House of Vans! Conflict Café are once again taking up residency at The Wall to bring you the best in Lebanese and Sri Lankan celebration food. Plus there’s films, exhibitions and events galore!

#3 Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea - Marriott County Hall

What?

Afternoon tea gets the butch treatment at Marriott County Hall. This manly creation features pork sliders, triple cooked chips, BBQ sauce and all the ale you can drink! Being a man is not compulsory so get involved with the whole family!

#4 Dory and Friends – SEA LIFE London Aquarium

What?

Well, this is about the most awesome thing ever! To celebrate the release of Disney’s Finding Dory, Sea Life are giving you the chance to find out about real life Blue Tangs and Clownfish, just like Dory and Nemo!

#5 Unlimited Festival – Southbank Centre

What?

In 2012, Unlimited was one of the highlights of the Cultural Olympiad. Unlimited is now firmly embedded in Southbank Centre’s Festival cycle. Join in the festivities this year with theatre, dance, music, literature, comedy and visual arts, celebrating difference with a spirit of artistic adventure, honesty and humour.

#6 Prop Store Exhibition – BFI IMAX

What?

Back by popular demand! This exhibition of film treasures was a massive hit last year. A dream for any film buff, you can see props and costumes from hundreds of films including Gladiator and The Dark Knight trilogy.

#7 Skyline Sessions – Mondrian London

What?

Catch some smooth jazz in one of the coolest bars in South Bank. Mondrian’s Rumpus Room hosts live music every Wednesday, so kick back, enjoy a cocktail and feel like the classiest thing since ever.
