There’s jousting for Pete’s sake! Who says you can’t enjoy that country, community feel in London? The lovely people from Lambeth council put on an annual celebration in Brockwell Park.

#3 IWM London – Real to Reel: A Century of War Movies

What?

Get a glimpse behind the scenes of the most famous war movies of all time. It all started with The Battle of the Somme one hundred years ago and since then some of the greatest blockbusters have taken war as their subject matter.

#4 National Theatre – River Stage

What?

The most raucous entertainment festival on the planet returns to National Theatre this summer. Expect live music, dance, DJs and residencies from the likes of Rambert ballet and Latitude.

#5 Mondrian London - Hamptons Terrace

Oh yeah! Now we’re talking! Al fresco dining in South Bank is just the best and Mondrian have launched a Hamptons themed terrace at Sea Containers to help you do it in style. Expect lobster!
