Penguin Point Experience

SEA LIFE London Aquarium has re-opened its popular penguin display as Penguin Point, an expanded state-of-the-art viewing and learning experience, complete with a colony of Gentoo penguins!

Get ready for a trip to the North Pole, and get ready to see Gentoo penguins right up close! The ten guest penguins will take residency in a bespoke new enclosure, cleverly designed to reflect the needs of the species. This is their very own amusement park, with two pools, a waterfall, underwater jets, rocks, landing areas and ice flakes. Watch them as they waddle, bounce and dive around!

The Antarctic-themed experience will give you a fascinating insight into the habitat and behaviour of penguins and explain how we can all play our part in conserving their environment whilst providing the opportunity for close range viewing of the delightful colony.

Through Penguin Point, SEA LIFE London Aquarium is supporting the efforts of the charity Falklands Conservation who work in partnership with the local and international community to conserve the Falkland Islands’ natural environment.  The Islands are one of the world’s great penguin capitals, home to the largest population of Gentoo penguins on Earth with as many as a million penguins of different species nesting there each year.  Visitors will be able to learn about the important conservation work of the charity and how they can help conserve wildlife in the Falklands for future generations.
