Earth Hour at OXO Tower

Dine by candlelight as the lights switch off for Earth Hour.

This year marks Earth Hour’s 10th anniversary is definitely one to be celebrated! If you weren’t in the know, Earth Hour is a fantastic awareness campaign in which hundreds of organisations and landmarks across the world switch their lights off for one hour to highlight our energy use and think about setting reduction targets.

This year, WWF UK has teamed up with the Sustainable Restaurant Association to highlight the environmental impact of the food we eat. As a 3 star member of the SRA, OXO is proud to support their March initiative.

So, on 25 March, from 8.30pm – 9.30pm you’re invited to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner as OXO Tower turn off their lights alongside many of London’s other key landmarks. You’ll be able to watch as the London skyline goes dark as a reminder of the impact we have on our planet.

OXO’s Restaurant’s energy-saving kitchen won a CEDA award in 2015, so you can rest assured that while you’re indulging in flavourful dishes, the team at OXO are doing their bit to reduce their impact on the planet.

OXO’s menu has also been carefully prepared with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients in mind, and there is also a separate vegetarian/vegan menu for those who would like to go a step further in reducing their carbon footprint.
