London Indian Film Festival at BFI Southbank

Collecting the latest and greatest independent releases from India, the largest South Asian film festival in Europe returns to the South Bank for another month of enchanting cinema. Featuring a wide range of genres and a blend of themes, this year’s festival also plays host to talks from industry insiders old and new as BFI Southbank offers up an exploration of the undiscovered.

Dogtown & Z-Boys 7 July, Lords of Dogtown 21 July at House of Vans FREE

Appropriately enough for London’s home of skating, House of Vans is celebrating the early pioneers of modern skateboarding with a pair of films that chronicle the journey of the infamous American skate crew, Z-Boys. Acclaimed documentaries Dogtown & Z-Boys and Lords of Dogtown chart how a group of surfers transformed skateboarding into the powerful sub-culture it is today.

Star Trek Beyond – Fri 22 at BFI IMAX
