Tell us what makes your bar special – Our biggest aspiration with Dandelyan has been to challenge the conventions of what a hotel bar could be. The opulent Tom Dixon interior set along a stunning view of the Thames creates a great tone as you walk in, but then from our 70s guitar soundtrack, to our less formal yet attentive style of service, and of course, drinks like no other, we wanted to prove the London hotel bar is not as one dimensional as has long been seen.
We have also been awarded a number of awards including World's Best Cocktail Menu (2016) at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and Best Bar Team in London, Time Out Bar Awards (2016).
What’s inside your cocktail cabinet? It's all about bespoke flora and fauna ingredients at Dandelyan. From clarified white miso syrup, to concrete washed Cognac & mummified lemons, we set ourselves apart from your average bar by those hours spent working before the lights go down and music comes on.
What’s your signature cocktail? - Our menu changes seasonally so all of the cocktails are signature. But if we had to choose one, it would be the Heirloom as it really highlights seasonality in terms of its flavours and the ingredients used. As we use domesticated varieties of fruits, many trace nutrients were lost – including higher iron content, proteins and trace minerals – as well as flavour. Many of these flavours have been reintroduced to capture the sensation of wild – or exploded fruit.
