Fine Art & Wine River cruise

Running throughout the entire month of September 2017 at M1 Fine Art Gallery in Greenwich, ‘My Favourite Subject’ will see members of the most highly regarded Institute relating to Oil Painting.

The Royal Institute of Oil Painters presents physical representations of their favourite subjects, each in their own trademark styles. Learn about what drives these industry leaders and explore the differing ways they each express themselves through the paintings they produce. Remember, things may not always be as clear cut as you first think…

Ian Cryer, president of the ROI, will be delivering a talk on his art and the work of the Institute. He is one of M1 Fine Art’s favoured artists and he often depicts scenes of and views from the River Thames. He is also an excellent public speaker, after years of giving talks and tours of exhibitions arranged by the Institute.

City Cruises are offering two fantastic cruises throughout the run of ‘My Favourite Subject’, both of which will feature a fascinating talk from the President of the ROI, Ian Cryer on the Institute’s history (dating back to 1882) and the show running concurrently at M1 Fine Art:

  • Exclusive exhibition preview cruise. Arrive in style from Westminster at Greenwich and be the first to see ‘My Favourite Subject’ at M1 Fine Art.
  • Fine Art Cruise including hand-picked artwork featured in the show and a talk from president of the ROI, Ian Cryer.
